I have developed a script for myself that basically gathers all videos on youtube related to keywords you specify or users search for. my script differs from some of them being sold on here with some major differences. 1. Script has its own database 2. Script has a dual rating/comment system a) pulls comments and rating, views etc from Youtube b) users can add comments (to the script system), rate videos, sort etc 3. Script can run auto or can be semi-controlled or full controled, by that I mean if u just want every video to show up on the site then u just let it run auto and let google index every video. You can have approved videos (you approve) show up first in results then the unapproved videos show up second. Or you can only show approved videos, this gives you the highest level of control to make sure that someone is aware of every video being shown to the user. Approving can be done video by video, in batches of 10, or by keyword search all at once 3. Script comes with a news ticker, partnerlinks, content areas (used for advertising) 4. Everything can be changed to the backend, title of the page, keywords, description, basically everything that you see in the script. 5. Script gives the user ability to download youtube videos (flv) 6. Shout system where users can add a quick shout 7. Alot more... Would you pay to use this script? if yes whats reasonable? FYI: this runs on .NET (which requires ASP.NET/Windows hosting) However, if you find use for the script I also provide hosted solutions. Not bad, sounds and looks pretty good. I personally wouldn't be in that market (not yet anyway), but maybe someday.
really havent set a price as i just want to know what people are willing to pay but i was thinking 99$ for a domain license or u can get a hosted solution where you only pay for the hosting and the script comes free, at 7.99$ a month with a one time setup fee of 35$ and best thign about this is, u dont do ANYTHINg, no setting up nothing, all done for u, all you do is point ur domain to dns and everythign will be ready to go P.S if you decide to buy the license, this ONLY runs on windows/sql server, will not run on linux at all.
