I wonder what the latest concensus is on the advantage of using hyphens in the domain.

    Which domain would you recommend?

I think it really depends on what you are trying to accomplish with the domain. If you are trying to create brand recognition, something that potential customers will remember, go with no hyphens.

If you are solely going for the teeny search engine boost you *may* get with the hyphens, then go for the hyphenated version.

If you have a chance get both :)
For SEO reasons, domains with hypens would be more beneficial, but there are 1million other factors.

I still would go for hyphens, as it's rather more readable for the human eye and it makes little difference to SEs, therefore it would be easier to market and advertise.

Of course both would be better to have with the hyphenated as the main one.

I use a - but only on a two word domain, not sure I'd ever use a three word domain.

Of course the longer the domain name (more words and also more letters) the worse, but free domains are getting harder and harder to find.

Yes, some of us jumped on the web bandwagon a bit later in the game, after the big www crash.

i dont think domain with hyphen is more benifial. i use a domain with no hyphen but i still got index and rank very high in the two days of my purchuse with 21,900,000 results of google.
I better suggest to use domain no hyphen which is more easy to remember and look more professional

Only consider register domain with "-" if the one without has been taken. You may even consider to avoid domain with "-" at all as it is not user friendly when it comes to memorize it. Just add pre-fix or suffix if your chosen domain is not available.
