New Addition to Authority Listings?

Hey,

I was searching for "anime news network" without the quotes obviously and saw that http://www.animenewsnetwork.com, which is in #1 position for that keyword has a search box in addition to it's links. Has anybody else noticed this? The search field allows you to search the site using the Google search engine. I just checked if this is default for other authority websites and it is. I'm not sure if this is new or if I just haven't really thought about it before.

It must be authority sites that have Google search.

 

That is a really cool feature, wish My sites had that.

They are not 'authority listings'
Google has never described any site as an 'authority site'
Even wikipedia, which is often called an 'authority site' in common parlance, says there is No Such Thing

I think this feature is in google.com only, because when I check in google.com.pk, I see on search box
