Hi, Every one! Can any one tell me what is the best site for PHP learning. I want to start from binging. Any single bit of info will be highly appreciated. Thnx
I've seen a lot of people recommending Tizag. I've never used it, though. http://www.tizag.com/phpT/ Also, you should learn how to use the manual. It'll be your best friend. www.php.net
Dear DP members, I'm new to PHP as well. I hope the sites that were mentioned by some of the members of DP will be useful to newbies like me. Thank you
http://www.php.net The official site for it. Just search for whatever you are trying to do and you'll usually see several example snippets posted by other people
I'd recommend Practical PHP Programming. It's more of a book than a simple tutorial site, which is good for beginners. You're able to follow the book in a nice progression through learning the language rather than piecing together random tutorial bits. It's also a free book, which makes it better than all of the books you'll find at Barnes and Noble... As for php.net, don't use that to learn php. It's a great reference source, but it's kind of like using a dictionary to learn the English language. It's a resource to look things up - not to learn fresh. - Walkere
