PR 3 on inner pages, PR 1 on main page???

    I've had a website up for about a year now. I've been busy building links to my site's main page the last few weeks, and I also submitted a site map to Google. The other day I noticed that my inner pages have a PR3, but my main page only has a PR1. I've got about 40 backlinks to my main page and no backlinks to my inner pages. Can anyone explain this?

    I think googles Pr is a bit messed right now, i am seeing simalar things on a few of my sites. Pr 2 on main page, and all inner pages get PR 3. Very odd but not really to much to worry about.

    Same thing with me I have a new site..PR 3 on inner pages, PR 1 on main page. I was told not to worry but I did want to get my site reviewed by the experts to let me know if I was doing anything wrong.

    my PR suddenly got from 0 to 4.

    I think it is a problem with the way it works.
