Dynadot vs Name.com - Which registrar should I choose?

I am currently a GoDaddy customer. I would like to change registrars. Price not being an issue (since they are both cheaper than GoDaddy) which one has the best customer server and overall better registrar?

I give a vote to Dynadot. Why ? Because they`re very fast. Today I`ve registered a .info domain and all was very fast. In 5 minutes the domain was registered.

Dynadot, it may not be the cheapest but it always has honest prices and great service.

Haven't tried Name.com because they use Google Apps. Dynadot is fast and user friendly.

Google Apps is optional and I think Name.com has got best user friendly interface with Namecheap.com.

IMO Dynadot is better. I like their interface very much.

But name.com is selling the domains for really nice price now :)

Since I am new to "domaining" I have only used Dynadot so far. The domains are registered instantly. They allow you a grace period of about 5 days (I do not know if name.com, and others offer it too?) in which you can "taste" the domain and if you wish you with can "request to delete it" to get full account credits to use for registering another. I have only had pleasent experience with Dynadot. Great service!

    Hi Everyone:
Wow... I just came across this forum through an email from cj.com & I can't believe how wonderful it is. Seems everything I am interested in is in one place.

I am new here but would like to start interacting with others, so please bear with me.

As for favorite registers... I prefer namecheap.com. I have been using it for years & really never had a problem with it. I find it very easy to use, & transferring a domain to a buyer is also very simple to do. Their price has gone up a bit in the last few months - but I like the fact that Privacy Guard is included when you register a domain.

As for GoDaddy... I do not like it at all. I find it way too congested & very difficult to use. In the long run their prices are not really cheaper, because you have to pay extra for Privacy Guard & extras. I now regret that I made a mistake of registering a domain there, to try them out.

Never heard of Dynadot before... so will check them out. Thank you for the tips.

    ALL THE BEST!

    Hi:
Also forgot to mention that namecheap.com is super fast. Once I pay & click button to register, it completes within a matter of seconds!

At least that is the way it has always worked for me.

Another benefit from them is you get register lock for free.

Hope this helps anyone who wants to know.

    ALL THE BEST! ;)

Name.com & Dynadot are both good. Name.com is cheap @ $5.99 but Dynadot is $7.50 when you prefund your account with $500 plus you can taste names there. Are you looing to taste names? What are your objectives?

I vote name.com and mydomain.com in terms of low cost domain registration but dynadot.com in term of domain testing. :)
