$100 top prize - Web design only (no code) - More prizes!

Hi all,

I'm interested in the layout of u s d e b t r e d u c t i o n * c o m. I like the way the site is laid out and I want something very similar but with all the actual elements changed, (pictures, text, colors).

The colors of the site I want are 0B669B, E74B32, ffffff and 000000. Use any images you think will work. Gradients are ok. I am very flexible so just use your best judgment. I am withholding my client's name for the time being. In the place of logo, just put the word "LOGO" the same dimensions you are reserving for the logo itself.

Basically I want the same look and feel as the site mentioned above.

Top prize is $100. Second prize is $50. Third prize is $25. Post sample image here for everyone to see. You can submit up to 2 designs for the contest. Hopefully prizes will be awarded at the end of the week, (meaning we like the designs and are ready to declare winners).

Hopefully this sounds fair to everyone. Any recommendations are appreciated.

@Aimres: I like the push pin but it looks like it's stabbing the little boy in the leg. Even though he seems happy about it, maybe there should be a divider of some kind. Also, feel free to move elements around to make it even more unique. I would minimize the red and reserve it as an accent color. Maybe experiment with the links a little bit.

 

Ok, somebody voted, "very unfair"...what's the problem with this contest? I have one entry so far. Am I asking too much?

my entry:
(the image that I used in the header is from istockphoto.com - for preview purposes only, text and images can easily be change)

(in white background, 1024px width size)


(in dark background, 1024px width size)

 

All you need is just the changed images...Text..and colors...
No layout changes...rite?

 

I would like all the same elements on the page. Try and use the colors I noted in the original post. The more I look at the red I would like to see it used as an accent color for trim and maybe text. At this point, I'm open to anything as long as the original elements remain, (form, testimonial, graphic, paper note, links). I may end up choosing multiple winners above and beyond what I already committed to. I have a paying client and they will require multiple designs.

I'm simply looking for designs that will convert well.

I have a lot on the go right now, but I should have it done by Sunday...
I appreciate it if you just tell me if this is a problem so I don't waste my time on an entry if the contest is going to end before I get a chance to post

@ RNHalawi:
- I love the staples.
- I would try White text for the "GET OUT OF DEBT NOW" and bullets
- Also the lines in the dark blue background section can be brought out more, I like that look but I almost missed it. It really gives the background some texture.
- I'm not wild about the "testimonials section...it kind of seems flat and ordinary.
- I like the concave at the bottom of the design, nice touch.
- overall I think there's bit too much red.
- I think if you can make some adjustments based on my note then you have a real solid contender.
