Post China's Alibaba worried about Yahoo bid?

I didn't know that Yahoo owned part of Alibaba. I wonder if Baidu (huge Chines search engine) would consider buying Yahoo.

Yahoo owns 39 percent of Alibaba, which runs its Chinese operation as well as several other Web businesses, including Alibaba.com Ltd, China's largest listed Internet company.
China's Alibaba ponders Microsoft's Yahoo bid

Quote:
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Alibaba Group, the Chinese Internet company part-owned by Yahoo Inc, has hired advisers to evaluate issues related to a possible purchase of its U.S. partner by Microsoft Corp after the Chinese government said it would scrutinize the deal, the Wall Street Journal said Friday.

Alibaba executives believe Microsoft will succeed in its bid for Yahoo, and has hired lawyers and financial advisers to evaluate issues related to a possible deal -- key among them, how Alibaba could increase management's control in areas such as board composition and voting rights, the Journal said on its Website.

The plan by Alibaba management flows from concerns about how the Chinese government would view a combination of Microsoft and Yahoo if the software giant's bid for the U.S. Internet company is successful, the report said.

It was Alibaba and 40 thieves...But now, Alibaba is so big, it should be Alibaba and the 40 millions thieves.
Since I got scammed on Alibaba, 2-3 years ago, I have contacted more than 1000 "companies" so far. Not one was legit...Not one...

Alibaba might suffer because the MS-Yahoo merger will go through.

Alibaba.com is one of the best internet company in China, who owns Taobao.com(No 1 C2C platform in China, also beats ebay.com in China), alipay.com(China paypal), alimama.com(China adbrite), alisoft.com, yahoo China(the worst property) etc.

Ma yun, CEO of alibaba.com, is the hero of internet in China.

I bought materials for about $1,100 and got nothing. But it's my bad. I should have made my homeworks better than that. Fortunately, my $1,100 was a first payment.
In Alibaba.com, you can check for a bunch of unaccuracy: Fake websites, payment to Indonesia while the 'Company' is in Vietnam, Chinese scammers, etc...etc...
I personally will never buy anymore without to take a flight ticket and get to see physically the premises AND will not pay BEFORE to receive any goods...
S, my game was to make orders to companies listed on Alibaba.com and see how these companies will scam you. So far I have check more than 1000 companies, and all of them are bogus...
Oh...another thing...few years back, I use to put the 'Company' name on the forum on Alibaba.com for others to know. But at one point, they were deleted by mods, to make sure that nobody can show how scamming was the site. So I don't post anymore unfortunately....

I just cannot understand how Alibaba and Tradekey survive with all the scammers on them and also how the legit companies get trade amongs all the scammers.
Maybe its all the money from the scammers paying $5000 year for gold memberships??

I don't think US legislators will allow Yahoo to be taken over by a Chinese company, Yahoo is too strategic an Internet assets to be controlled by foreigners.
