Caveat Emptor: A friend got permanently banned (he and his site) for adding WAY too many friends in a day (and 1000 friends certainly qualify for that).

P.S Hey OP, i'm not pouring on your parade. Just don't want any DP members' accounts to get banned. If you want to add that many friends, make sure you spread it over several days.

 

I have been adding friends to many accounts, 1000 max, within 24 hours for weeks with no issues but I do guess it could happen.

 

Not getting caught doesn't mean you won't get caught. They've got ppl filtering and checking their systems all the time. Whatever you do, be careful.

And yes Digg can be strict. I suggest using accounts you don't care about then use them to promote your real accounts posts in case of a ban, although again I have not had any trouble as of yet.

Also I turned your setting for "display recent changes" to private. No reason to show you added 1000 friends so fast to the world

anuj291, you should also add a profile picture to your Digg account. You will get a much better response.

oh and another quick tip, change your settings so that only friends can send you shouts.
