First of all I would like to greet everybody here, It’s a pleasure to be here.
well, since I'm now in this I would like to ask you guys to take a look at http://www.shaislighting.com and let me know where are my mistakes in writing this website to be Search Engine friendly, I just recently updated the Meta tags and added more text to the site and I see is starting to climb up on google and yahoo for some of the terms, I know that I probably have a lot of mistakes, but hey, you have to start some where.
    Thank you in advance,
    Jack

Did you keep <! these html comments --> (which seem like old snippets) for a reason? Other than for personal use there is no need for them.

Very decent. Flash still annoys me, not anything against your site, JMHO. Otherwise, I like the layout. I would suggest adding more content (copy). Also, it looked as though you had yet to be included in DMOZ. Always a good idea to get listed there. Having the phone number at the top is a great idea, and I would suggest putting your address there as well. Also, have a look at my robots.txt file here www.newcomputer.ca/robots.txt. Use this to eliminate junky spiders from making their appearance and eating bandwidth.

I like the site. White space is always kind of refreshing. I can view flash movies on this machine (waaaaay too old) so I couldn't see what's going on there...

Hou haven't used any <h1> tags. That is a must.

I'm sure that if you add them, you'd see a pretty big boost.

Good start, keep the good work up!

Guys, thanks a lot for the help, I hope to get better with the time ;)

"Tops3o" I put some keywords inside the comments since I read somewhere that it helps.

"NewComputer" I did register in DMOZ, just a few days ago, it will probably take a few days to get listed, also I want to thank you for the refreshing point, I never thought of junky spiders before.
I wish I had more content to add, I'm clueless in the lighting field, and my customer doesn't have the patient to provide me with content, even what I have now it's took me long time to squeeze it from him :(

"SEbasic" thanks, I totally forgot about the <H1> tag.
I did a research on SEO and I did write down to use it, but from some reason I forgot. Thanks :)
