Simple free wysiwyg editor for windows?

Hi,

I am looking for a simple free wysiwyg editor for windows. Just to create simple HTML formatting, nothing fancy (i.e. bold, hyperlinks, paragraphs etc) and it must create clean strict HTML.

I will be using for editing our HTML newsletter, I can do by hand, but will be quicker using a light weight editor.

Any suggestions?

You can also take a look at Freeware HTML Editors at SnapFiles and pick up something from there

Why you want WYSIWYG though? Manually writing tags is cool

 

I second nvu and if that doesn't work, try Kompozer.
