The www.productreview.com.au scam

Okay so word started about an affiliate program for productreview.com.au. I did a bit of back checking on them and found a few odd things about them like no contact number for them - no response to emails ect but decided, what the hell. So I joined the affiliate scam and added some links.

Now firstly I thought okay I know what these guys are doing, they have adsense on their site and they probably get a pretty good CTR at a higher price than $0.05/click along with in house advertising they are selling with the selling point of how much traffic they have and how much it's growing (free advertising through affiliates no doubt). My stats below give a pretty clear picture of whats going on with them.

3 other people i personally know also have yet to be paid



Hope this saves some people the waste of time it is signing up with them. If you actually have been paid let us know! Cause the 4 of us havnt LOL!!

 

They never paid me either.

They probably pay for people not sending them traffic which they dont accept (From pay per view type traffic)

 

I would imagine that yeah - but thats not the case

 

could it be because you bought traffic and had them sent to your affiliate link? because they're able to track that and know that it's not qualified traffic.

 

I just joined this .. is this really scam? If it is I might delete all my links and stop promoting it.. When I think about it, yeah they never reply my e-mails..

 

I have been doing business with them and haven't had a prob....are u sure you follow their affiliate TOS?

I signed with them, and reached AUD100, so I wait for my payment.I mention they did answer to my emails- with some delay but they did.And I am pretty sure they pay for writing reviews as a friend of mine from Australia was paid-in voucher as they do for australians.
I am still hoping ! How did you asked for the money?Only by contacting?
As I see you did not have any sales for them , could be this a reason? It is true it is not stipulated anywhere about having or not having any sales, but who knows?

 

Yep - now the productreview.com.au Affiliate program has vanished ... and my commission balance too

I don't believe in these kind of promotion because they are useless and wastage of time.

I completely agree with you guys.. PRODUCTREVIEW.COM.AU IS COMPETELY SCAM.. i have posted couple of bad reviews for my builders and they stop publishing these reviews.. my builder have had issue with the productreview long time ago and they have had some conversation (probably my builder has paid to them to publish to bad review).. in last few months i have not seen any review to this builder.. even my friend (who is also building through this builder) have been trying to publish the bad review but productreview decline it without any reason...

 

Thanks for awaring us about this scam. Actually the growing number of scams are creating the trust issue. So we should take decision very carefully.
