This guy has scammed about 50 people for their domains. He sends money paypal. You get it. You transfer. A couple hours later he disaunthenticates. You lose everything. Moderators don't delete this, everyone domainer needs to see. He has been on dnf, np, and this forum. We have laywers working on this. If your and your reading this I wouldn't be suprised within a month you get arrested. If you have lost your domain. Make a post saying:

where it was register, what domain, and info about what happened.

If you have any leads or ideas please post them. We must catch this guy.

You can re-claim your domain via ICANN complaint, as long as you have enough proof.

    Peace,

Spamming the forum with threads saying "X scammed me" will just end up with you banned.

But.... if the warning is posted in other forums, will potential buyers ever read it? This forum is what the buyers read, so it makes sense to post the warning here... Although, I agree it is off-topic (not selling domains) but it is important to alert potential buyers regarding the scam. Better safe than sorry.

I have called godaddy. I spoke to supervisor. He said go to dispute section on godaddy. I will see how that works out.

Please mention the url of the domain you got scammed. This way we can see if any of the whois information has trends and if any of his information is legit.

I just got scammed by this guy!!

He added me on msn and after discusing a deal, he sent the money, I accepeted it, I then pushed the domains, the deal was then done.

5 mins after, he logged off, then he then made a claim on paypal stating that it was an unauthroised transaction!

    I lost the following domains:

    NXL.ORG
    Poo.FM
    RPG.FM

The deal was $620, now I have nothing.

Please someone tell me how do I get my domains back ?

The scammer specifically asked for Godaddy domains, so thats a clue.

The users real name on his paypal account is:

    Derek Peacock

We should all report this guy.
