I was wondering if these datacenters show the same results as others for people who have "older" websites. For me they show results that are much much better than the others for competitive keywords. They have been showing different results for several weeks now If they show same results for older websites these might be an indication of where you are with your seo? 64.233.187.99 64.233.187.104 Danny
I'm also seeing some small improvements in the results at the IPs you mentioned. I don't know what it means but I hope it moves over to the live servers.
These datacenters seem to be the outcasts from the others in results. Matt Cutts did comment on the *.104 datacenter as it was asked in his FAQ on his blog but nothing really too deep other then saying they are testing new stuff. You should really check out the results on these. It seems rankings on them are better for a few of my sites. I hope they get more database with this system on http://64.233.187.99 http://64.233.187.104
Better rankings and a site out of the sandbox for me on them, been watching them since the middle of last week.
Yep same here. Two sites out of the sandbox, rankings are very good on those 2 DC's. However you know how unpredictable things are, they could be 2 dc's that haven't had the filters tweaked with yet, so I'm not counting on anything until those results spread. (lets hope they do)
I would be thrilled if those results spread, finally cracked top 5 for some main keywords. I am not holding my breath though..it took me over a year to grind up to #7..you can't count on anything with Google.
Same here. On those two DC's I'm actually #1 for a few key phrases I've been targetting since Sep 05. To put that in perspective, those same key phrases are pages 7 and 17 repectively on all other google DC's. So yes, I would love for .99 and .104 to be the direction google is heading in. As a matter of fact, every key phrase I'm targetting ranks higher on those two DC's. So I'm pretty sure google will never use them.
Agreed. Very little spam there and I can't even find cloaked pages for the key phrases I'm targetting. Normally a few of my competitors will have a cloaked site or two crack into the top twenty. I wish I knew what those two DCs do differently and I seriously wish Google would stick with it.
I'm up seven places to twelve on .104 at the expense of Cornell, Stanford and a couple of minor universities. Go Google Deano hits himself on the head and thinks to himself why did I start a site that competes with whole university depatments Great fun in the challenge to get to number one though
I think a lot of results from those DC's have spread. My site just went to no.1 in google from a record high of 5 going past about.com in the process - hope this sticks!
