New Site - Confused about being Sandboxed

Ok, I realized the subject has been racked over time and time again. I did my research and still can not determine if I'm sandboxed. One of my difficulties is that I use a lot of Googles tools and it appears that for at least one specific term, I am being displayed #5. The term is "shopping cart" "user statistics". When I search my web address I get the desired results. Just trying to figure this whole thing out. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are ranking #5 for anything competitive, you are not sandboxed.

Thanks for the quick reply. It was surprising seeing as though my site is a little over a month old. Well I'll keep plugging at it and hope for good traffic.

keyeraines, you might not be through it yet. As I understand the sandbox effect, it doesn't hit you right away, but after a while. So your new site might just be sandboxed yet.
    Keep your fingers crossed.

Google never Sandbox a new site in very begining. But when once the full fledged optimization start the site may be sandboxed, as i have noticed in most of the cases.

Yes indeed. This has happened to me in the last 24 hours. My site is only 2 months old. One month ago I started ranking in the top ten on Google for a number of good keywords and a couple of long tails in a number of countries. I was amazed and wondered at first if I had actually managed to avoid the sandbox.

The high ranking in SERP's in many countries continued up until today...

I have been checking tonight and out of all the keywords that ranked previously my best result is 95 for one keyword in a few Spanish speaking countries (thanks to a few of my pages being in Spanish). Even a search for my sites name (which up until now was ranked 1) produces a result where the sites name is lucky to appear in the top ten. (Above it appear the odd directory listing). All searches for the keywords that once ranked highly show that I aint even in the top 100 now.

I have been sandboxed. Time to get my shovel...

    :)

Just work on getting links from related topic sites and you will see results sooner than later
