It looks really interesting Marty. I'm just concerned that the ads will annoy people... I'd like to pop it into a smaller site and let it run after Feb 1st to give it a try out before putting it on my main sites but your sign up specifies listing all sites that the ads will be used on. Is it possible to start with one site in the account and then add more after Feb 1st?

 

You need only to add one site at signup, you can add more later, the reason you need to list sites, is so that the system can crawl your website and prepare itself to send the appropriate ads based on its findings, keywords, description etc... Remember noting is sent to your site until February 1st. You can also remove the code, but I suggest placing it on every site you can for now.

 

One at least but is there any advantage to me if I put the code on all right away?

 

Uh doh! Another question... I am located in Spain but one of my sites has predominantly US traffic. Can the system read this or is it going to serve ads according to the location I specify?

 

If you add your site now it will help the system send the appropriate ads to your site or it may take some days for the system to settle in so to speak.

This is a world wide product, however it is based on the English language for now, your traffic sources are not relevant its your sites contents thats important. I'm not supposed to ask for PM's in the section, but you can PM me your sites URL if you wish, I think that will be OK.

 

I got two sites with the code in place. Both are high traffic sites. I'll be keeping an eye on proceedings.

What types of ads will be showing? Popups or incontent?

 

No popups or underlined text, your website visitors don’t have to do or look at anything.

Also US advertisers typically want US visitors and not a bunch of traffic from the world over that is not likely to purchase.

Sounds like hype......maybe after you prove your offer is worthwhile and earning others money....would be a good time to post....till then it's words on a screen..

 

There are no ads to display, US advertisers will get US customers from US related websites.

Our site is in BETA stage at the moment, once we have enough affiliates to ensure the continued growth of our program then we will shut the doors and nobody else will be allowed to earn off of the effort of those they refer.

Yes we are going to close the doors, on this BETA promotion, its debatable whether there will be a follow up affiliate program, if we do run something else its not going to be as lucrative.

Between now and February 1st, we are aggressively seeking new affiliates and website owners to place the PPP audio ad code on the pages of their website so that we can establish a large footprint for our advertisers.

Our footprint will be verified by an independent third party auditing service by the name of BPA Worldwide. BPA will verify our reach to our advertisers. As a publisher (website owner) you are in a unique position to be one of the few that will be allowed to earn ongoing residual commissions.

In summary, this is a serious project and I would ask that if your not interested in joining, that you simple ignore this thread. Thank you for your understanding.

PS: Yes I understand your frustration with others spamming your Affiliate forums, take it up with the administration/mods, theres no need to hijack threads, I have followed this section rules and announced this project correctly. Perhaps this is also the time as we draw near to launch date(5days), to let DP members know that PPPlay is an Internet Audio Service, backed by a major search engine. The silence about who that search engine partner is, is a strategic move that will ultimately mean more money in your pocket as a marketer of PPPlay. Details of which will be announced on the day that REAL ads start playing.

 

Its one thing to let people know about a new service but its another to pretend its your own dude. You posting stuff from the site like it was your program which it is not and acting as if you had something to do with it. Cut the bull.
