IE messing my Adsense

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by Bugster, Jan 22, 2008.

I noticed my earnings and impressions were really low today and to my surprise i noticed that my Adsense ads are not showing on IE. This wasn't the case yesterday and all of the sudden is doing this.

I checked from different computers and same problem.

Was there an IE update that changed the browser settings? (Who knows)

Is there anyone out there having this problem as well ?

    Thanks

Was it a "page cannot be displayed" error inside the adsense unit?

Didn't you installed any new software lately? Firewall/Antivir/Adblocker or something like that?

yeah, i've noticed the same thing. to be more explicit, only 1 of the 3 ads was not there at all. no loading error, no nothing, just blank space. why the hell is that?

Wonder if it has anything about the Adsense site being inaccessible right now.

No. I even had a friend of mine check and same problem for him. This only started today and the only reason i noticed was because my pages impressions and earnings are really low for today. Checking my site stats most of my site visitors use IE which is killing me

maybe it was an error from google and that's why they shut down adsense now for maintenance.

i fixed the problem and it was actually with the PC.

    i ran
     regsvr32 jscript.dll
    Code (markup):
I must have installed something that was causing this file to act strangely. the same fix worked on different PC's .

I wonder how many IE users are out there with the same problem and is preventing us from making $$ out of them.

    I HATE INTERNET EXPLORER

Honestly, just switch to Firefox. IE is a fossil and not even worth the hassle, I switched about six months ago I never looked back.

    Cool avatar by the way!
