You got to Love this: SKYPE and NASDAQ are bidding on a Bid Directory

    I just went trough my Spam folder and found an email from a Bid Directory:

    "10.000 user one of the most famous bidding directory. Also well known trademarks like SKYPE or the New York NASDAQ are bidding there."

    And yes, they are there - right at the top - on the Home Page. Sadly, the directory owner is also a DP member.:eek:
    I wonder if anyone actually went for that or is this simply inteded as a joke.

    I'll bet Apple Computer, HP and IBM will also jump on this - as soon as they find out that they could bid only $65 to be on a PR-3 site.

    I doubt that bid is genuine. If the directory isin't heavily promoted I doubt they would place a listing on that directory. May I know the URL?

    Chances are the directory owner put them at the top with fake bids.

    Reminds me of when that guy a few months ago suddenly came forward saying he had a huge bid on his directory, everyone stamped on his online head.

    I never seen him again. :)

    I recall seeing that bid directory in question, although I have forgotten which one. The bids are obviously a fake.

    Pretty cheap and fake bids.. This might be an attempt to get more and higher bids from normal website owners.
