googles policy changes is this the lull before the storm well every one in US is feeling the fear of the 'R' word (recession) with google making three policy chnages in one single day there is something cooking up the changes are 1) adsense referals users will now not be paid any bonus 2)google pack referal is now only 1$ 3)firefox referal policy for china is changed is this a real time for panic
I would say there is something strange with what's going on at the moment with Google and the US market, but I just think companies are tightening their cashflow belts, ready if there is going to be a downturn. There's also talk of offline businesses suffering because of a boost in online sales here in the UK, so I think all businesses are wary that people are choosing haphazardly recently and there isn't much security in any business. Google could be planning something big at the same time though.
Lay off the coffee, the referral bonus was never ment to be forever, if you actually used AdSense when it first came out that was just a temporary thing that was continued indefinity. I wouldn't sweat it, wasn't easy to get that bonus anyways.
A recession in my opinion won't hurt Google as much as most companies. They are a global company and when people are laid off or need money they spend more time online searching with google.
