because they are crap and used for collecting the submitters email

so that they can spam the hell out of you

 

I for one will not help fill your directories so that you can sell them next month.

100 directories that cost $1.99 for a one year domain with the exact
same template, same catagory dump ..NO mods added and that will be
sold in less then a week or two...

So basically people just wasted thier time to submit...

That is impressive work but from an SEO/webmaster's perspective, they aren't worth it to submit to. They are all identical and will probably soon throw a red flag by Google. I hope not because that would be a lot of work, time, and money wasted.
