Google Announces 5 New Initiatives

Today Google.org shared its game plan, announcing five core initiatives to help combat climate change, global poverty and emerging threats such as pandemic disease. These initiatives draw upon Google's strengths in access to information and scalable technology.

They are starting to be like Bill Gates Foundation which is great! You earned billions of dollars from society and are now contributing back to society. These news immediately give me a much favorable outlook of Google. This is really a blessing of humanity that arch rivals Microsoft and Google do have a same goal - to help mankind.

Google.org has been active for years the only thing is you guys didnt know it existed. I made a post on google.org about 6 months back

Maybe I am a frog in the well but it is sure good news for me that Big G is like Big M$ in promoting the betterment of our fellow human beings

Google started various things like election propagandas, Competition in Computer engineering women that will be held in India etc. It is also like Google covering its area slowly over all the fields of our life.

Nobody has said that they didn't know that Google.org existed. However, Google.org announced yesterday that they are making these charity initiatives.

I cannot imagine a better way to increase brand awareness.

Besides, it's a good move to give something back to the society. So both sides would get a benefit. Respect to Google!
