Major Changes Brewing

    There are going to be some major changes going on with the ad network, the biggest of which is I'm going to be opening the ad review system up to selected members to help with the process of reviewing pending ads. If anyone is interested in helping, please let me know. It's all going to be voluntary, there is nothing to gain from it and you still won't be able to review your own ads.

    Ads are going to have stricter guidelines. For example, ads that are all lowercase will not be allowed any longer soon.

    Revalidation is going to be a little more complex on the backend to prevent cheaters (for example, there will be times when Google's cache is used to determine if ads are there, rather than the site itself, which will prevent cloaking). There are going to be some other things as well...

    Going to spend some time documenting the specific guidelines.

    Individual ads are all going to be classified. This will allow the ad network to easily be split into various groups as it grows.

    Anyway, just a heads up and looking for reviewer volunteers.

    So eventually the adds will be seperated in to catagories like business, webmaster, real estate, etc? And you can pic which catagory you won't your sites to display on?
