Unusually low traffic!

My traffic usually slows down on the weekends and picks back up on Mondays. However, yesterday and today, traffic has been very low. Anybody else experiencing the same? Is there a holiday I'm not aware of going on?

My traffic is mostly return traffic. I get hardly any traffic from the search engines.

 

Traffic rises and drops for a multitude of reasons. Good weather could be getting people outdoors. Some sports event could be distracting them -- like the Olympics, World Baseball Classic, and the Commonwealth games. Holidays in xyz country can make a big difference. I would not worry unless I was down and stayed there for many days for no good reason. One of my sites is mainly used by cash commodity traders, so its traffic is really slow on weekends and major U.S. holidays. My general interest sites seem to hold up better through holidays. But, all my traffic suffered during the Olympics.

 

ncaa men's hoops tournament is coming up. I'm sure people will be spending a lot of time distracted by games and brackets. Maybe that had something to do with it.

 

The weather has been unseasonably warm in much of the US.

Maybe people have been outside...
