    Hi DP member,

I have problem with my notebook's LCD because there is a a Dead Ant Inside. How can I remove it without opening it. Is there something I can do to remove this damn ant?

Hope I will received a descent answers about it, even my thread is kinda weird and funny. I am so bothered with this tiny little thing.

I wish, it never happened to my LCD.

    regards,

I really don't know what to tell you. Can you post your notebook module details and possibly a screenshot. Your best bet would be to contact customer support and ask them. I'm not even sure if the LCD part of my laptop can be opened.

the ant is about 2inch from left, 1 1/2 inch from top. its like my text are floating. it seems that the ant is behind the lcd.

wow how'd an ant get behind that thing. I'd call customer support as strange as it sounds, they might be able to help you get the ant out.

try crushing the ant until it is mostly liquid(like, gently press on the screen), then soak the screen in distilled water, then freeze the laptop. Done

Don't worry, pure water isn't conductive of electricity.

    (I'm not joking btw)
