    Hello,

Yesterday I had a transaction with steganos regarding his eBay account. I paid $50 for it and started using it. Within 2 hours it was suspended since the email address was changed from a different ip address (mine). I PMed him and told him to follow the instructions in the email sent to the orginial email address to restore his account again, which would take about 5 minutes of work to get is restored. But he keeps on ignoring my PM's, he does not want to solve this issue, and will probably not solve this issue.

Just wanted to warn everyone about him.

    More Proof:

It's a bit early to brand him a scammer. I'd give him a while longer and see if he comes up with the goods. Also, I'm not sure buying an eBay account enhances your own credibility.

As always with DP it's buyer beware - you'll get no support from the mods.

I would give him more time if he would even respond to my PM's.

Yes, I'm perfectly aware of that. You see, I could care less that I lost $50, but just I just cannot stand being ripped off.

Why don't you red mark him so that every one became aware of the scammer!

Now you can red mark him too! It is not a problem at all!
I would suggest you to give a red mark so that every one becomes aware of him!

I can leave another feedback for the same transaction?

Most of the things done on DP is wrong. Currency exchanges are wrong, link sales is wrong.

Loosely speaking, they are. But no-one is buying links or currency in an attempt to look more trustworthy than they might actually be - and it's obvious that's the only reason someone buys an eBay account with high feedback.

steganos is viewing this thread so we might get his side of the story.

No actually I need an account since I can never buy a high priced object on eBay. There are too many restrictions on newbie buyers, that buying a high priced object is difficult. Plus your auctions aren't taken seriously.

He logged off again, he doesn't even have his side of the story.

I will give him 16 more hours, then I will leave him a negative feedback.

That's actually wrong. It's only one rating per thread if you go by the rules. That's why you should always wait a while and never be pressurised into awarding.

I have to go with the rest on this one. Buying eBay accounts is normally a sign of someone looking to scam on eBay. Also, I agree that the other stuff you mention is wrong, and it leads to a bunch of scams. I would say at least 90% of them are from this type of exchanges. Of course, you knew the risk before you bought the account. If eBay finds out, they normally ban the account. Even if he does what the email says, if it is in a different region than where he is, they will still end up banning the account. They keep track of where you are and all other information. Any weird things will draw a flag quickly.

You may have bought yourself a $50 headache.

Also as Countryboy said, you can not leave two feedbacks or you will be the one banned from DP.

Oh i never knew that we can't give 2 feedbacks even if there is a problem.
Anyways, thanks for your advice and yes you are right, we should at least wait for 48 hrs before we take some actions

is it even legal to Buy/sell ebay accounts? The way i see it if you have to buy an ebay account you shouldnt have it anyway. Thats what you get for trying to beat the system, consider it a lesson learned and move on.
