getting referrals from adsense related URLS

Lately my web stats have shown alot of my visitors coming from http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/ads. However, I don't run Adwords ads and have never advertised the site. I do run Adsense on some of my pages, though.

Any idea where these visitors are coming from?

 

Perhaps from one of your affiliates advertising your site (if you run an affiliate program.) Or perhaps a satisfied visitor doing you free advertising (huh?).

 

Its got to do with google's server which keeps track of the clicks. There are regular website reviews by google every friday

2,636 of these to one of my sites so far this month... that's a lot of "regular website reviews."

 

Yeah, ive been getting clicks in the hundreds.

 

Yeah, same here, I've been getting thousands of uniques through Google Ad pages, and I am not running any adwords programs or any affiliate programs.

 

I'm thinking ill contact Adsense support to get confirmation on this.

 

I would also love to have that free click..
