Question about banned users in DP

    Hello:

    I was wondering if there is a way to find out any information about users of DP who have been banned. I ask because I was conducting business with a member of DP who is now banned, and I would like to know why seing as how I'm doing business with them, and in the middle of fulfilling a contract.

    No, sorry... any info about the ban you would need to get from the user directly.

    is he fullfilling the terms of the contract? Has he done anything to you specifically? he could be banned for a number of reasons, perhaps he was aggressively marketing something and wouldnt quit or he called Sean a flaming retard. You could also check out some of his posts if they are still available to research what he was doing. My point is if he is doing a good job with you, let that good job take its course and reap the benefits.

    Well, actually, I am the seller in this case, he's the buyer... So I don't have too much to worry about... I was just curious about how things work here. I assumed it was most likely this way, as that's generally the case in such situations, Thanks for the fast reply Shawn.
    I have emailed him from our original contact on the order, and he's already paid so whatever he did wrong here probably doesn't matter too much for what we're doing... Thanks everyone! :)

    A lot of times its only a slap on the wrist for a few days so they may be back (if it isn't something major).

    I should hope I would know, I am the one who banned the person in question (and before you jump on it, it was a really cut and dry reason)

    Don't fall for that I don't know nothing about Digital Point crap from Nintendo, he remembers every detail on threads and can post links to all of them, even threads that were made before he joined!

    He knows more about threads I have been in than I do!

    He even has a clone DP wacko forum! :eek:
