...all my sites have disappeared from the index I no longer rank for anything and when I access Google Webmaster Tools, I can see that no pages from my sites are included in the index. Same place I can see that Googlebot accessed the sites successfully a couple of days ago. Why is that and most importantly what can I do about it? Almost all my sites are based on WordPress, some of them have been in the index for a year or more and they are heavily optimized for keywords. None of them are blackhat, but I might have created some not so natural links for some of the sites. They are spread on several hosts and even the sites that I haven't informed Google about are affected (i.e. the ones not in Google Webmaster Tools). Help me
I am sorry to hear that,i am going to start hundreds of blogs, thinking to operate with them carefully.Sorry, wait for a few days to see what's coming next.Hope google index your site back.It seems that google hate what we are doing here, like paid links.,guess the only thing we can do is to follow them.
Get rid of the "not so natural links' on one of the sites and see if the site comes back into the index. Matt Cutts has said that Google de-indexes sites as a warning.
I don't have any not so natural links on my sites, but the some of the links pointing at my sites might be not so natural (i.e. directory submissions, etc.) Most of my sites doesn't link to anything.
I have now looked deeper into the issue. It's not all my sites in Google Webmaster Tools that have disappeared from the index - only the ones with AdSense on. My sites with no ads haven't disappeared. This also explains why sites that aren't in Google Webmaster Tools have disappeared. It's all of my AdSense sites that have disappared from the index, while my affiliate sites are still there. Now the big question is why Google have decided that my AdSense sites should disappear from the index?
Did you put ADS where you would be fooling people to click or break thier terms off service...???? OR are You in a Geographical Region that no longer offers adsence revenue to its publishers due to fraud clicks? (Recently read that they where taking out adsence from poor performing countries considered Bad clickers) Im not saying you have but for them to do that theirs a reason and due to "you" and not your "linking habits"... thx malcolm
My ads are placed in normal areas, I don't think I have been fooling people/breaking TOS. I have still earned something from AdSense today (<10% of normal) and my sites still show ads, so they haven't banned me. My income today have come from visitors from MSN, Yahoo and direct links to the sites. I'm located in Denmark, so I don't think I'm in a bad region.
In my opinion if you have alot on the line aftwe 2 weeks I would contact google with a re inclusion request. It cant hurt at this point. Best to play be the rules
Several different IPs, but they can of course see all my sites because of my AdSense account. I have already sent a message through AdSense, but we all know it usually takes them days to reply - and my income sucks while I wait
Received a canned answer from AdSense support, that AdSense and Google itself use different crawlers and doesn't affect each other. So no explanation from Google about why only my AdSense sites have disappeared from the index Guess I just have to sit tight and hope my sites get back in the index soon. Any better ideas are very much appreciated.
