Adsense Fun - How Long

Every industry has first movers that make the most. There are some people who already made a killing with adsense and still there are a lot of people who are making serious cash. But increasing number of people joining everyday and seeing payout going down significantly already for some (could be just holiday reason which i hope).

How long you think till we find that adsense just doesn;t worth the effort? Will there ever be a time like that in the near future?

Also, lot of news and media coverage on adsense is getting the word accross and making internet visitors familiar with Ads by Google. Lot of people already know not to click on the ads. So I started noticing CTR going down on certain niches already as visitors on those niches are familiar with Ads by Google.

 

1st point: Well your threat title is misleading

Secondly, I agree that increasing number of people know google ads now and on top of that, rubbish MFA ads are screwing the system. Who wants to clicks that rubbish mesothelioma ad?

I guess google needs a second round of cleanup to get rid of MFA and only allow branded websites/products to advertise.

 

Everything will come to a point where it has to change. I am certain there will be larger programs online paying much much more than adsense. Or ... just wait for the next e-book to come out which might read : "how i made a million with kontera" ... (chuckle!)

 

Google has found ways to move the industry, I strongly suspect AdWords/AdSense will change and reinvent itself with the market and stay relevant for a long time to come...

Its true that some people doing great with adsense but if you show dedication and hardwork, you can achieve it too.

we have a zippo site
2 years it was going nowhere
6 months ago discovered SEO. Put in a lot of time reading and learning.
Landed on googles first few pages for our main keywords.
started to make sales but still adsense earnings were about $3 month

i thought if i had adsense on my site and it was listed ok i would at least make some money with adsense

WRONG

how did i fix this?

Then discovered this great forum called DIGITAL POINT
and i tell you what
most of these guys & gals know what they are talking about

 

Adsense will continue to be worth out as long as advertisers continue to advertise.
