Reached $100 total, Avg. $3.50/day on less than 1000 uniques

My site has been up for about a month and a half and I will most likely reach the $100 total mark today.

I am now averaging about $3.50 a day from an average of less than 1000 visitors a day.

 

congrats...but i also make $2.50 a day with less than 100 visitors, less than 70 unique visitors too...lol sorry had to brag a little

Congrats. Think what you will be at when you get 10 or 20 times the amount of visitors you have now. Good luck.

 

Does it seem like the high daily average is from high value key words or from a higher CTR?

 

i think there is more potential in your site m8, there is more to be earned then 3.5$ a day from 1000 uniques. but still congrats . keep it up

 

eCPM of $3.5 and you're complaining?

 

Congratulation.... $100 in one and a half month is consider good, IMO....

 

I get 5,000 Impressions for about $2.00

 

if it is all unique, eCPM 3.5 is nothing. one of mine average 20 buck for eCPM...but i have only 200-300 impression daily

Define normal? The problem is each site is different in the way it is setup and the flow of traffic. Your visitors may not be as inclined to visit the advertisers on your pages as another sites traffic is or you may be extremely higher than another similar site. Take a look at your ads and see if they are blended well and if they are relevant to your site. If you are getting that amount per day then it may be normal for your type of site. I have sites that receive 0.4% ctr and others that are around 4% and are in the same industry. What makes one successful may not make another one the same way due to different types of visitors.

As I said that all depends on the factors I was talking about. I have sites that get 500 uniques a day and make an average of $23 to $25 per day. For your niche that might be really good.

If you are getting alot of clicks, but a low payout on them then yes that is a good number. Allthough you might look at putting YPN on your site if you can do this. They tend to pay more in certain niche categories and may be a good and profitable move for you as long as you are from the U.S. I have sites that are similar in traffic to yours and had adsense on them and was making around $10 or less per day and made the switch to YPN and now they do around $20 to $30 per day. That is something you might look at also.

I have had sites with $200 eCPM while others of mine get $10-20 eCPM.

The biggest factor of course is CTR and cost per click.

I like your AdSense placement on your category pages with that leaderboard - nice work. Very clean.

So my site does quite well then? Only 350 uniques per day. These figures are for March 2007.

 

My site is averaging $2.00 a day. 150 unique visitors.
