Hopefully that article is right and Microsoft is actually on top of the game now, I highly doubt it though, since FF3 is open source, so more developers and people around the world can help on it.

Well if its true that would be abig leap for Microsoft. The main problem with Microsoft and every other company who controls a part of the market. They do not create excellent products until they get competition....in this case FF.

Well I can only imagine Mozilla has something up their sleeves. I am sure that Microsoft is not going give up though as they would hate to see little orange foxes continue to replace the circled e's on desktops around the world.

You shouldn't be addicted to IE - try firefox - you would fall in love with
it. there are hundred of themes, plugins that help make you surfing a much
    secure and pleasant one.

come on - don't trust those MIKROSOP geeks.

That is why FF3 is released in beta form. I predict that IE8 will probably be available for beta around March. If this is the case you can probably look for IE9 within a year as Microsoft has said that IE9 would deal more with user interface and plugins than IE8 which focuses on web standards.

Good to know that IE8 passes those web tests.

I'm a Opera fan because Firefox is a memory hog.

Good information. I was sure that Microsoft would take step to beat the FF. But as the memory limit is increasing i think FF will be more popular.

All I hope is that I don't have to shell out more money to my web designer to make yet another new CSS style sheet just because microsoft can't figure out how to do CSS properly

See, the reason most people use IE is because it comes installed on the pc, just like when you buy a pc, what antivirus is usually installed? Norton. Firefox is doing well though, it won't be long till they take over, unless Microsoft really changes it's coding and is actually carrying something up their sleeve.
