    VCC = Virtual Credit Card. It can be used to verify your paypal account. Go to Buy/Sell/Trade Section for VCC. You can get it for $5

    At the moment, Indian users are not allowed to verify their accounts by using a debit card. Get a credit card and then verify your account. I don't suggest VCCs as you "may" face some probs like account limitation in future though many people are using VCCs without any prob.

    It is better not to use VCC as it may lead to paypal limitation in the future.
    So better get a real credit card that is universally accepted and verify your account! :)

    Yes you can use VCC ,they can only limit your account and they will not suspend or ban your account in any case

    Isn't illegal something which you should not be doing ? Basically if you want to use VCC, use it at your own risk.

    There are reports here daily of people who have their Paypal account limited anyways if you are not aware.

    Try to apply for credit card through HDFC,ICICI or SBI.

    If you have no any other option then go with Virtual Credit Card IMO.

    Well, at least I don't do that. I got a credit card before I joined Paypal because it is a much needed payment tool which is a great help when I travel and when I purchase off the net. In my world, there is certainly no way I could survive without a credit card.

    There are other uses to a credit card than only verifying accounts online , Abinesh ;)

    To the OP, if you are above 18, apply for a credit card, and use it to verify your account.
