Google Directory Update
Not sure if this is old news, or however old the news is. But I got a couple of sites into dmoz a few months ago and checked last week if they were in Google's directory yet, which they weren't. Last night they were in there under the correct category so I'm going to take a guess and say Google have updated their directory from ODP's database again?

Well, at least I think so, unless I'm special

Yes they updated the directory from the DMOZ feed a few months back (for the first time since 2005).

My site now shows - having been in DMOZ since May 2006

Well my site wasn't in it 2 weeks ago, and is now in it. I knew they updated it in September, two days before I got in the DMOZ But now I'm in the G directory so they must have updated it again. How often does Google update the visible pagerank in the directory?

You are right - well spotted - it has indeed updated again!

Perhaps we are back to regular updates now
