I was checking my stats earlier for several sites and 150 or so keywords on the BigDaddy DCs [identified using the "sf giants" phrase] have the same rankings the they had immediatley after the Jagger update. Which is really really bad for me - I lost 90% of my traffic on that one and have been slowely building it back up. Is anyone else seeing changes? Speculation? algo rollback? Isolated event for my site? or something else? -jay
I didn't notice any difference, but we would need to wait for others to post their info to see if there's something going on.
Really the only DC's I'm doing ok in are "Big Daddy" centers...and McDars new datacenters...I haven't got a clue what's going to happen but for me these new centers look like good news for me at least.
I was doing ok on the BigDaddy DCs until today. . . Just curious if anyone else is seeing a change or is it isloated to my sites?
I saw a lot of changes in my most competitive keywords... all positive for me though so no complaints. Also significant because they were jumps like #22 to #11, and #8 to #1... much tougher than 195 to 85.
Check out this search for an almost unique string of text: http://www.google.com/search?q=at+t...ient=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official The first two listings are from last year on an old IP that hasn't had a site on it since May, 2005. The next two are from my production site but are listed as supplemental. . . Really f'ing strange. . . . wtf is G up to now?
I'm not sure either...all I can suggest is buying www.wtf-is-Google-upto.com I have searched for it a few times in times of dismay.
I was relatively unaffected by early jagger, in fact I came through in okay shape compared to most. It was BigDaddy that hit my site hard. I am not seeing serps like early jagger at this time. That is not to say I do not see something very jagger-like going on... http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=655672&postcount=553 http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=656422&postcount=577 http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=656470&postcount=583
Hey Admin/Mod what's up with the move to website reviews? I've seen a rather large roll-back in the G Db for 6 out of 10 sites I run and I want to know if anyone else is seeing similar changes in the G Db. It's not even remotely related to website reviews. I'm not asking for nor do I want someone to look at my sites. This is BS. -jay
Sorry, Jay. Perhaps this explains it... http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=670358&postcount=29&highlight=bugs
Sometimes DP reminds me of WMW . I guess I should made the title "Oh my god, there's another PR update going on!" Mod, This is a waste of disk space in this forum. Just delete it. -jay
