    Hello Guys,

I am looking for some expert to help me out to push a couple of 1st page listings for the Keyword " Ds Max", which has a couple of negative feedback reports about the site.

One of the ways i tried is to link to the listings on the 2nd page to get them ahead of these ones, but it has worked in a limited manner.

Does any one know how to get this done - Its surprising that someone looks to push the 1st page listings to 2nd page - But its equally surprising that most people dont know how to do this, everyone seems to know the reverse.

    Thanks.

just drop the links to the page.

Or you drop google a mail saying that, "please list my site on page2 instead of page1 of your SERP. I know how to get to 1st page but not 2nd page, while others dont really even know how to get to first page."

I know how to do it but I'm not gonna share. Sorry, but that's a skill I prefer to keep to myself.

Create a dupe of those pages somewhere with a higher pr and break the links on your copy of it. I have noticed this a few times but im not sure if it works.

I think the blue find directory has a been a victim of this.

hmm .. get large amount of links to your "competitor" to boost them. :D
Or boost the links found at 2nd page to 1st page with massive amount of links. Then you will be at 2nd page :D

if you want to eleminate bad publicity out of your google ranking that is the same as if you would want to hurt your competitors... and we all want to know how to do that!

Why would you want to drop your results? In stead of running away, you should counter the negative feedback. There is no bad PR, there are only bad ways to deal with it. Mention the negative feedback you've received on your website, that way you show your visitors you're working on it. This will make you look more reliable, than when you run away and not deal with it.
    But that's just my optinion...

Create 10 new pages / promote 10 other pages to get better rank than the offending page. It will then be pushed to the second page.

Just read some of those other pages...sounds like DSmax is a reall craphole of a company. I can see why you want to hide those pages. Are those articles discussing the company you represent or another company with the same name?

Here's a couple things i might suggest you do to hide the offending pages:
On that website, ripoffreport, you could create a few pages about "another" company called DSmax - in fact, you could create several, even ALOT of pages talking about this "other" DSmax company and try to get those to rank higher than the "offending pages" you could also do some SEO for your own site and try to beat out the "offending pages" You could also contact the host and/or webmaster of the "offending pages" and ask them to remove the pages and perhaps threaten with a letter from a lawyer.

Since it didn't appear to be obvious to someone, you may want to remove those links in your previous post, Seo Ocean, since incoming links are just another way of gauging the popularity of a site.

If you wanted to increase the rating of those pages, then I'd say keep the links as they are. However, since you want to drop the rating of those pages, get rid of the links (especially since this page has your keyword all over it).

As for bilz comment, I'm not sure legal threats would do much good here - isn't this covered under freedom of speech?

If you're worried about the publicity, and you are not from that company, then you need to deal with this on your page. "We are not ..." and "Here's some facts about our company".

If you are from that company, then you need to handle it like the big boys do - press releases and explanation. You can't push it under the carpet - you have to do damage control.
