I havn't finished it all yet but just wondered what you all think.

Also if you could tell me what one you like best either the new homepage or the old one.

    New one here - http://www.thenightclubsite.com/indexnew.php

there is a very solid overlapping between the text
"UKs only serch engine for nightclubs" and the other 2 links in that area
and the vertical G adsense left totally covering the adsense

    seen with FFx 1.5x

"The UK's only night club directory..."

You can't say that - you're not the only club directory in the UK by a long way. Searching for "uk nightclubs" on Google brings up several other sites just on the first page of results.

a good way to start optimizing for any browser is to have valid code
    http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http://www.thenightclubsite.com/indexnew.php
valid code may mean that you have to remove some of the tags that may be proiprietary code just for one particular browser.

keep in mind that many of the smart and very active surfe3rs use firefox, on my site i have currently some 20% FFx users, a steadily growing number.

    in addition to valid code
you also need to have vald CSS
    http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/...=http://www.thenightclubsite.com/indexnew.php

the CSS part may be the reason for mismatch in your overlapping page-components
read the errors on above CSS validation output and you see the precise corrections to be made.

any error from such validaton output = always start with TOP error first - always solve errors from top to bottom on each page

still in doubt and full of more quesitons ...
may be you'd love to have a look at
    http://www.w3schools.com/
there you find an outstanding online tutorial for all details of an entire web site

may be you even have no firefox at all for you ??
    give it a try
Firefox with the additional extension "Web developer" toolbar may be of great help just for your current problems
after downloading/isntalling FFx just go to tools, select extensions = on the small pop up window lower right corner click "Get more extensions" then search for "Web developer" . after installation of new extgensions restart your FFx to have new extensions available

    good luck

I get the same results in ie above 1024 x 784. Drag the window larger and you can thee the point it happens. The top section and the left are locked to the top right hand corner and the central text is centralised. When the window gets too big the regions overlap.

I think your new site has too many Google ads. It's almost looks like nothing but Google ads. Google ad at the top, on the side, in the middle. I can almost guarantee you that if you remove one or two ad formats your CTR will increase. I recommend removing the top ad link. It's just overkill.

    Hello,

I have seen the new site, you have no font consistency in the website, secondly, its not optimized for different browsers and have also rush of google ads.

You're obscuring parts of your Google ads. Whether it's intentional or not, it's still a gigantic AdSense TOS no-no. I'd not do that if I were you.

Obviously I'm not meaning to do this bro. I'll put my hands up and say it's not well designed.

Anyway... thank you for all your coments especailly hans. Thanks for the links it's a great help.

Could you please take a look at http://www.thenightclubsite.com/indexnew.php
I belive this is now working better?

Please could someone share some light weather it works ok now.

P.s. I don't no how anyone can say my homepage has to many ads on it, it had 3 one text link accross under the logo, one going down the side of the site and a little one under the homepage text. Nothing wrong with this is there?

I have now removed the text one under the header, but apart from that I think my add placment is fine.

Google adsense does not like it when you put anything above the adsense ads that say to click on the ads like you have done.
Right about the google ads, you have "Check these out"
Good way for google to disable ads or ban you outright.
    Remove that ASAP.
The ads by google right below it have no ads.
Clean it up a bit, add some more content.
    You can do it.

I don't say "check these out" above the ads what are you talking about? I think your find that the first three links below where it says "check these out" arn't google ads there just links to other parts of my site.

When I go to your site and all I see are Google ads EVERYWHERE then you have too many ads.

BTW: Don't ask people to take time out of their life to review your site and then argue about every little point they bring up. If you were going to be so resistant to advice why did you even bother? Sheesh.
