4 people from yahoo are coming to ask me questions about what i think about YPN etc... What do you guys want me to ask them ?
yea, dont forget to mention my sites, lol, get me some traffic too. Tell them to take the program out of beta already!
run!!!! run for your life!!! I'm joking... tell them they can come to my place, Im in southamerica now, hot days here
Since no one else is telling you, please ask: 1) what's the revenue going to be like down the road when it's out of beta? Can we expect similar payouts to what we've been seeing? Make them be honest even if you have to use force. 2) can they work WITH publishers a little more, rather than against them? tell them that if they want to separate themselves from every other ad company on the web, they can CARE about publishers. Then uppercut them onto a table, preferably with a bowl of punch or a cake.
Ask em... 1) Will they put in place a defacto standard that they 'will pay more' than G until they achieve parity in market share. 2) Will they 'create' new methods or will they simply follow G? Yahoo used to be grounbreakers and now they have a chance to take back the badge! 3) Will their search results in anyway be influenced to favour sites which show their ads. 4) Will they allow publishers to control a 'minimum price' for clicks on a threshold basis (ie:- can a publisher dictate that ads paying under 10 cents per clicks may not appear on the site) 5) Can Yahoo allow publishers to optionally 'fix' the quantity of ads-in-box ie: a four ad unit always remains a four ad unit and will never show just two ads. The answers would be interesting...
Nice work! I got an email about that a few days ago, something about $200 to complete the survey. Might just give it a shot... As far as questions, people have given very good ones that I would to see answered. In addition, I'd like to get an estimate as to when they will roll out the electronic funds transfer for payments. Let us know how it goes.
Simple, Ask why do I have to put YPN ads on my website instead of Adsense. What YPN has to offer better than Adsense.
I got the same e-mail, but they aren't scheduled to be in my area until march. My suggestion would be more towards better targetting of ads. They seem to have a much smaller advertiser base than G in certain niches. I hate when I see Vonage or Mortgage ads on my site. Perhaps they could provide an "alternate URL" kind of functionality like Google when the targetted ads are non-existant.
Tell them... Their targeting sucks and to learn from Google. Click prices and click fraud are way too high and that advertisers are bound to abandon the ypn ship anytime now.
