Hello, I have "Email Invoices/Statements HTML based" set to YES. When I send an invoice, it uses Outlook 2003. Outlook 2003 is set to send an email as HTML as default. When the invoice is sent, it shows the HTML markup instead. An example is as follows:
Interactive Online Invoice#: 041209-0013
10151 University Blvd #126
Orlando, FL 32817 Main: 877 679-6525

Due Date: 9/14/2009
Invoice Submitted To:
David Tanguay December 9, 2004
123 Bear Road Login: mainreseller.com
Orlando, FL 32801
US

Service Period Is Paid Through: Sunday, August 30, 2009

Payment Will Extend Service Period To: Wednesday, September 30, 2009

This invoice was sent for your records. Hi Shawn, I changed it to SMTP & it did send the message correctly, but I don't see much difference between the Plain Text invoices & the HTML invoices. I was under the impression the HTML invoices would include my logo at the top, just like a printed invoice. Is it at all possible to send the invoices as a PDF? Perhaps in a future version of Optigold? Thank you for your help! -David Tanguay www.interactiveonline.net
Really the only difference is the HTML version is able to force spacing for clients that use a variable width font so the columns line up correctly.
COPY the content and paste it in ms word file and save this with .html extension. when you click the file the file will be opened in browser. so try to send this file . or use smtp simple mail transfer protocol to avoid this problem
no that wasn't the problem 4 years ago when i made this post. We no longer use Optigold. We use WHMCS instead now.
