Legal Forms website. Visitors can view legal forms and pay for them by Paypal. The customer automatically receives an email after paypal payment is received. The legal forms are in both PDF and DOC file formats so the customer may edit the forms if needed.

A full admin panel is included where you can add additional forms and verify sales. All legal forms on the site are included with the sale. I also do adwords advertising on this site. I will include the entire keyword list. I only bid 0.05 per keyword.

Sometimes these emails acknowledgements get put into the customer's spam folder or the customer claims he never received the email. So whenever the customer does not receive the legal form, I email the customer and attach the forms to the email message. This problem happens for less than 20% of the sales.

I don't get it. The site has no forms at all - Just a bunch of ads as far as I can tell. And domain is listed for sale.

where did you get the rights to sell these forms, from?

 

How many legal forms?
Are they the free 2000 legal forms simply put into DOC and PDF format?

 

Please PM where you got the rights to these forms, who wrote them, etc. and traffic stats.

It has forms on it (I found them). That would definitely be a point of redesign since the form download part is not intuitive. All forms for 19.95 sure was a price let down. I would charge more than that... hehe.

The legal forms was purchased. They were included with a prozilla legal forms website script. The script included free resale rights of all the legal forms.

I redesigned the script. I fixed all of the bugs, mod-rewrite and other seo features.

 

Legal forms are $1.95 - so after paypal fees net is about $1.60?

So Legal form sales is actually closer to $200 than $250 right?

 

It is not that simple. If you have a Personal Acct with Paypal, then there is no paypal fees for sales. If you have a premier acct with paypal then your paypal fees are between 1.9%-2.9%. Only about half of the sales are for one legal form. Many customers purchase between 2-3 legal forms, and some purchase them all. Close to 15% of the sales are repeated customers. So this is too difficult to calculate.

 

Can you give an estimate of how much paypal fees are out of that $250?

You can't set up the site to automatically accept payments from Paypal balances to a personal account and all other payments to credit cards...

Unless you set it up to send payments to a personal account which means everyone trying to pay via credit card will get declined.

 

This is the first time that I have ever seen paypal fees included as part of a website sale. But I have nothing to hide.

The total paypal fees for that period (1/1/06-2/9/06) is $33.55

But sales are not the same every day for every month. For example, sales so far for today is $25.35 - $2.25 paypal fees = $23.10 profit. This does not include the adsense income earned today.

Dec and Jan were slower months probably due to the holidays.

 

Is there a way that customers can preview the form before purchasing?

I did add an option in the admin panel for an image file to be displayed. This would allow the user to see an image of the form before purchasing it. I never got around in using it. Of the thousands of forms that I sold over the past year or so, I think there were only two people that emailed me that they did not like the forms they purchased. No one ever asked for a refund. For $1.95, I guess they had nothing to lose.

 

$1000. I think it would be fair if you mentioned that the site design is a turnkey. There are hundreds of sites out there with the same design.

That is a prozilla template. The url when he first posted this was legalforms.net and now he has changed it.

 

That is correct. It was origionally a Prozilla website script. I did state this in message #9.

The domain name of the site was always legalformsbiz.net. When I created the message thread, by accident I left off 'biz' from the domain name. But the message was edited, and corrected the domain name, within 5 minutes when I first posted the message thread.

 

where do your visitors come from ?
