page rank or site rank ? please help me understand

i just want to know if i have too many links in other sites for pages in my site like this:
www.benefit-ms.com/dload.php?file=354.......
or this download.mysite.com/gfsdhpr

dose these links give my site www.benefit-ms.com a higher pr or it gives a higher PR only for the linked pages.

 

PR is counted per page, meaning that links will directly give PR to the linked page. But, if the page is linked internally to the home page, it will pass some link juice to the home page too. That's one of the reasons -in most cases- the home page has the highest PR.

really these links (www.benefit-ms.com/dload.php?file=354.....) header the browser to download .exe files
now i understand why my site has a PR1 while these links are spread in many forums with PR4-5

but: my dload.php page will have same rank
links : www.benefit-ms.com/dload.php?action=download&file=354
will it make this page higher rank: www.benefit-ms.com/dload.php?action=showfile&file=154

i mainly want to increase page rank to get a higher cpc ads in adsense on site pages

Keep in mind that PR depends not only on the quantity but also on the quality/relevancy of your links.

 

in general, if you have link from hign PR page, your site will has hign PR

that means if i want to make an upload site the links shouldn't directly download files they should open a download page in my site to give me a higher PR
