Adsense for gambling related blogs

    Hello,

Here's a curious question: I currently have a hobby poker blog that I was thinking of adding Adsense to, yet didnt because I saw the "no gambling policy". However, I see tons of sites out there like this:

    http://jfpoker.blogspot.com/

The webmasters all say they got their sites approved on other of their sites and place the adsense on their gambling sub-sites as Google has never complained, thus they will continue. Anyone have an opinion on this? I am approved for other sites already, but should I go through with adding to a "gambling related site"?

    Thanks!

I actually emailed them and they only give a nebulous reponse like "We cannot disclose any information about our relationship with our other partners". Period.

Anyone else have an educated opinion?

This is one of those weird situations where Google clearly states they won't approve sites like this, and yet there are relevant ads for sites like this! So who knows. Personally I think Google will allow these sites as long as people don't point them out to them. I.e. as long as no one squeals, they're cool with it. Google is, in the end, just a business out to make a buck.

And if somebody complains... the hammer I guess... it's well specified in the policy under site content... no gambling or casino-related content.

Just contact them about YOUR website.

I put a gambling oriented website in ad words. It's just an information site. Google checked it out and then approved it for advertising.

As to putting ad sense on your gambling website, why would you? If you know anything about the niche, you don't want to settle for pennies when you can make dollars.

Of course, if your website lacked quality original content, it's probably best to pull in whatever pennies fall out of your visitors pockets.

Whatever you do, don't copy other people. Just because they are doing something against TOS and getting away with it, does not mean you will too.

    Good Luck!

As said it is always best to contact them.My interpretation of "gambling sites" is sites that you can go to and actually gamble.Gambling info and the like seems ok.
