    So,

Today I was checking my website, which contains the AdBrite script in the footer, and i had a big surprise.

Instead of my site look like:
    http://www.coredownload.com/advertising/cd_normal.gif
    it looked like
    http://www.coredownload.com/advertising/cd_messed_by_adbrite.gif

I do not remember any place in the Adbrite TOS where they informed me that they could do something like this. If any of you know about such a thing in the TOS, please let me know. Anyway, I consider this practice TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and so i remove adbrite from the site... they did not get me big earnings, anyway.

What do you think about this?

I joined Adbrite and they just introduced their Intermission ads which is basically a full page that loads before someone actually gets to the page they think they're going to. It's annoying and whie they offered a nice sum (for me anyway) to add it I declined, it just isn't worth it. I wonder how many sites signed up for it.

    But money changes everything right?

I think it is worth it if your site have a stable membership. I tried it on 2 of my sites, and found that it PROBABLY work for a forum. On a news site, the visitors who hit my actual page reduce dramtically so I remove Intermission. However, for my forum, I dont notice any drop in traffic - basically my forum is old and dont get many new signup. Most are old members so it is alright.

In fact, I have gained 10+ affiliates (affiliate link is at the actual page I think) this way although I have no idea if they will actually work on it. I also start a sub-forum for discussion about the ads and most members and very supportive.

my visitors are looking for contents , from my webstats daily 5% visitors spend 15-30 minutes on my site and daily 10% are returning to the site.. so for me it doesnt have any effect cause the quality content is very important .. people will continue to come as long as ur content is good ..

    intermission has higher bid ..
