Page in Referrers that don't link to me.

hi,

I've been noticing recently a number of pages coming up in my referrer stats that don't actually link to me.

Now i saw earlier, someone was talking about something similar but with porn sites. The sites i'm talking about are actually quite interesting pages but with no apparent link to me.

Anyone have any idea why this would be happening?

i was just looking at your blog earlier - caught a ride to it from problogger!

 

Another explanation could be that you are using the Co-op ad network, that has fooled me before when looking at backlinks, I forgot I had rotating links from the ad network pointing at me and for a second or two I thought it was referrer spam.
