is Buying Traffic OK ?

I hope I am posting this in a right sub-forum

While searching on google for traffic, I came to know about many sites which were offering packages like get 10,000 visitors for USD $15 and similar...Are they worthy enough ? I am workign on my site and I won't mind buying some traffic

 

I don't personally trust those types of traffic programs. I have never tried them myself.

 

ya, actually the reason why I am skeptical is if they are effective than why people are using adsense and paying one dollar for one visitor ? They may be using autosurf or paying people to surf..but even if I can get 500 interested visitors for USD $10, that won't be bad I guess...

 

The difference is between quality visitors and just any visitors. In the case of paid-traffic program, those people are just trying to hit as many different URLs as possible. If you use adsense, you're getting targeted surfers who may actually be interested in what's between your HTML tags.

 

You may as well throw your money away rather than pay for traffic. Image the quality of your visitors (if they are even human) when they have to visit 3 sites per minute.

 

More likely, 30 sites per minute.
