    Thats a good move. Because when the forum was down yesterday, there were adsense ads which linked to a forum thread.. So there was total loss to the advertiser.

    Several hundred a day. The last figure I heard was that DP forum pulls $10k+ a month from adsense, but that was before more ads were added.

    This is not a DB issue, it is google adsense who stopped showing the ads.

    Peace,

    Because when a site or publisherID is banned from adsense the ads do not display. The code on the pages where the ads are blank appears like such:

    <script type="text/javascript"><!--
    google_ad_client = "pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx";
    google_ad_channel ="xxxxxxxxxx";
    google_alternate_ad_url = "http://forums.digitalpoint.com/html/no_adsense.html";
    google_ad_width = 728;
    google_ad_height = 15;
    google_ad_format = "728x15_0ads_al";
    google_color_border = "ECF3EB";
    google_color_bg = "ECF3EB";
    google_color_link = "226C22";
    google_color_url = "226C22";
    google_color_text = "000000";
    //--></script>
    <script type="text/javascript"
    src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
    </script>

    So one can assume that DP is being denied publisher status, either that or everyone who has a pubID with DP is being blocked (which i find rather unlikely)

    I also don't see any ads. :D I wonder what will happen if Adsense is gone! :eek: I hope DP does not closes down. :D

    I wonder what has happened...hope it's fixed soon. Lets kill Adsense if they stopped showing ads. ;)
