I personally think that the fella is just a "Script Kiddies" only. No more than that. He cant do any harm here at DP.

Wait till he found that his action "kills" him sooner...

Hmmm..

There can be a thin line here at times, but I'd rather err on the side of caution.

Personally, I get a little hesitant when I'm just writing about advertising and its value to websites including my own. For example, I've said things like "Google search vitors are more apt to click on ads here than regular, returning visitors because the searchers are looking for something specific and an ad might be just what they want". That's just a statement of fact, but it certainly could be misinterpreted and I have sometimes felt that I should take down ads on the pages that reference such topics. It's hard to write about advertising without skating a little close to that edge.

I do think Google is a little extreme. Saying "Please support our advertisors" isn't completely verboten in print advertising, so why should it be on the web?

But whatever they want, most of us are just going to do it, right?

Think about what Google is trying to prevent: someone who isn't interested in an advertisement just clicking it to help out the site's owner.

What is the purpose of putting in a "Please support our advertisers" text? If it's to say go to their site and buy their stuff, then that's great but Google can't tell the difference between that and "click on it and help us pay the bills."

Well, actually they could. If they and the advertiser wanted to, they could cooperate on tracking clicks to goal pages and compute payments to Adsense (and eventually back to us) on the basis of true conversions our sites generated.

This would not be particularly hard to do, and both advertisers and honest site owners would probably like it. Advertisers would pay less for clickthroughs from sites with poor conversions (which Google could be looking at globally rather than specifically) and we honest sites would get better payouts for sending good traffic.

I wouldn't fall off my chair if Google did something close to this sooner or later. It's technically not hard, especially with so many of us already running Google Analytics. Adwords is already tied into that, so with little effort Google could determine how good we are at sending valuable traffic.

Google: feel free to steal this idea

You guys still talking about me? Wow.. lol.

Anyways, that wasnt even my hashed password, but nice fake attempt.

Ok, I already stayed quiet for a long time, but seems you people like to bug me for some reason.

And auto ban IP script? Nice 1, it didnt ban me once, I just been busy with my own stuff.

Jackburton I did not get kicked off adsense, I got the money and left cause I knew I would be kicked soon enough for asking people to click, so I switched before it cost me money

Anyways, this thread is useless, if you want more then 30 seconds mr. DP admin, just let me know.
