Revenue Share Problem

On the options screen in User CP, it won't let me put in an Adsense channel ID for this forum. It keeps giving me this error no matter what I do:

But there is no expected format, so I'm not sure what I am supposed to do.

 

Yes, there is. Did you log into your adsense account?

The expected format is:
pub-yourpubhere

example:
pub-5676236325709660

 

No, not the publisher ID, but the channel ID. the publisher ID works okay.

 

Enter only the digits of your channel ID.

 

But anything can work as a channel ID. There's no reason for it to reject what I put in there. So what's the problem? You guys do understand that we're talking about the channel id and not the publisher id, right?

 

You need a valid Google Channel ID...you can't just enter anything.

The easiest way to channel is URL channel and just add digitalpoint.com to your Adsense account as a url channel.

 

google used to give a numeric channel id, but changed that 2 months ago, the system was made for a numeric channel id, so now it does not work. as quoted in the post above, use that as a way to track your share

So no more numeric channel id ? Thats why i dint found my channel code in new ads
