Hey I'm based in the UK. If I go to www.google.com it automatically forwards me to www.google.co.uk. I can type in a search term like "football" with "the web" checked, and "pages from the UK" unchecked. The 1st result is: news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/default.stm The 2nd result is: www.football.co.uk I then check "pages from the UK" and the results are pretty much the same. How can I see what US surfers are seeing
try by ip address. 72.14.207.99 72.14.253.104 or the google dance www2.google.com which is 64.233.179.104
The tool google provides for advertisers will let you do that https://adwords.google.com/select/AdTargetingPreviewTool
When I go to Google it goes to Google India. So I changed my home page as http://www.google.com/ncr . Working great.... Now, I open the browser it goes to Google.com
Try wid this one: type in address bar after clicking any result "&gl=[type country shortname" e.g. &gl=us
i used to have this problem...i am based in colombia and it would come up with google.com.co u have to go into preferences and change your settings, then just use the google toolbar instead of using the browser
