    Hey

    I'm based in the UK.

If I go to www.google.com it automatically forwards me to www.google.co.uk.

I can type in a search term like "football" with "the web" checked, and "pages from the UK" unchecked.

    The 1st result is: news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/default.stm
    The 2nd result is: www.football.co.uk

I then check "pages from the UK" and the results are pretty much the same.

How can I see what US surfers are seeing

Log out of your Google account before you surf should fix the problem.

When I go to Google it goes to Google India. So I changed my home page as http://www.google.com/ncr . Working great.... Now, I open the browser it goes to Google.com

i used to have this problem...i am based in colombia and it would come up with google.com.co

u have to go into preferences and change your settings, then just use the google toolbar instead of using the browser
