On Novemebr 21 I have sold my site http://www.sellebooksite.com to "noniman" member of this forum for $550 only. I accept his offer because I really need the money quick.

He send the payment to may paypal account using the following paypal account Linda_duong88 at yahoo dot com . After the payment registered at my paypal I push the domain to his name.com account. And give him the access for the site server.

But on 22nd of this month paypal revert the payment and sent me and email saying that the transaction was unauthorized and they need to refund the money.

Since then I am constantly sending message to "noniman" here and even send him email, but I don't get any reply from him even single line of reply. I thought he just busy and not online lately, but when I check here at dp his last login is today 10 AM.

What I did, I tried to contact some of his customer who gave him a iTrader and 1 of them replied me and experience the same problem and he used different paypal email.

Other guys still not replying... But I guess this is a proof that there is something wrong. I don't want to accused this guy as scammer but why he is not replying to messages.

If "noniman" have time to read this post maybe you can post your side with this problem.

Currently I am hoping name.com will give my domain back , hope they will consider my demand.

I post this thread here to give some warning to fellow marketers here at DP.

    Hello,

I sold my website "wareezz.com" do the same user noniman for $200 USD. I recived the money as planed and i pushed the domain to his namecheap.com user account.. I also zipped and sent the website to his mail that he provided..

He at first expereinced some issues to recive the zip, so i sent it to 3 different email accounts that he mentioend! And one of the email accounts i sent to, is the mail account he used to send the payment of 550 USD to PinoyIto..

The day after i got the Paypal held message.. I called Paypal and they explained to me that it was out of my hands, and that he would check if i was protected by the paypal fraud protection....

The funds are still held by PayPal while they investigate this! But i don't doubt a second that they will refund him the money and i will be lost! I have tried to contact Namecheap.com to see if it is possible to get my domain back, but i have had this issue some time back, and it was not possible for Namecheap to actually return the domain unless i took legal actions..

This is mainly a warning to all of you to avoid this person until this has been cleared up by Paypal or noniman himself.. I will update this topic on how it goes with PayPal...

    Thanks,
    Freddy

Freddy - And I was going to offer to buy your site for $200 as well +-| Irony..

Piny - Sorry to hear that.. You might want to read http://www.namecheap.com/legal/dompolicy.asp specifically #4 you might be able to provide enough evidence to get your domain back. Send them everything from a screenshot of the payment and it reversed to the email you got from paypal to a link to DP and this thread.

    Good Luck

    - Steve

Yea, but let alone, a domain is under $10. A script can be worth tons...

    Hello,

The script is not only valued in a website! The domains traffic, specialy and just the plain how good and easy the domain is counts in to!

A domain with 2 million uniqes a day makes the domain worth quite alot, even tho its only a domain bought for less then $10 :)

    Thanks,
    Freddy

    Hi PinoyIto,
Just thought I clarify a few things here. I used to have the username noniman on this forum. I have been away for a while and have not been active on this forum for over a year.
Trying to login to my account a couple of month's ago my password is not working anymore. I requested a password reminder but never received the emails. I than tried to contact DP administration but did not get a reply.
My only choice was to signup for a new account and trying to sort out this mess. Looking at this and other threads it seems that my account has been hijacked and several fraudulent transaction have taken place. I don't know how this is possible but it has happened to me. Let me ensure you that I have got nothing to do with this.
My real name is Pascal and I am living in New Zealand. I have traded with many members on this site without any problems at all as you can see on my high iTrader ratings. Could someone who has been ripped off by this person perhaps give me some more details so that I can investigate this further. Perhaps a website this guy bought or something similar that I can use to track this person down.
    Thanks for your help!

why are you bumping a year old thread?

Why not just use PM's if your account was "hijacked"?

I am trying to rebuild my reputation here, get my account back and perhaps get some help from some other members.
