Change the link target URL in CJ

    Look through their CJ links and find one that says it allows URL redirects. Once you find one for that merchant, then you can use the url= parameter. Just be sure to urlencode all the urls before you stick them after url=

    urlencode isn't necessary (I've tried it with & without), not sure why CJ does it by default... although their urlencode function doesn't change certain characters that are normally changed with urlencode.

    No, this doesn't work for all merchants. This may not track correctly for all merchants either. Check with the affiliate manager first or use the Product Catalog.

    yes, urlencode is absolutely necessary when the url you want to redirect to contains certain characters. you were probably trying it with simple urls that didn't require it. that is why cj does it by default.

    I know this is an old thread, but I do have a quick question about redirects. I see on the image above, it states that redirects are OK. What if the publisher doesn't mention anything about redirects. What are you suppose to do?
